Built in the small halls
Louis Horn turned professional in November 2021, outpointing Jakub Laskowski on a Wasserman Boxing bill at York Hall — the spiritual home of British boxing, a short walk from where he trains in Bethnal Green. Topping that same bill: his brother, flyweight standout Harvey Horn.
The wins stacked up the honest way: four-and-six rounders under the famous balcony, taking on all comers and banking rounds against durable opposition. A rangy lightweight with a long reach for the division, Horn built his game fight by fight on the East London circuit — and between camps he's on the gym floor, coaching as a personal trainer at Buddhabox.
Then came the step up. In April 2024, Horn travelled to Sheffield as the away fighter, went ten rounds for the first time against the experienced Keanen Wainwright, and edged a split decision in a nip-and-tuck battle — taking the Commonwealth Silver lightweight title in just his sixth paid contest.
The next chapter is being written now. A new date is on its way — and the unbeaten record goes on the line with it.
